Disgruntled Artist

Mama, what you got over there? I see something new, and being the baby-sleuth I am, I feel the need to investigate.

TaDoodles. Hmm. This could be interesting. Mommy, please remove the objects from the packaging. Post haste.

Stand back, I am about the touch the objects. This could be dangerous.

Whew, they didn't blow up. I was worried about that. Must conduct further testing. What happens when I smash them together in a vigorous clapping-like motion?

Nothing. Hmm. They're kinda boring. Mommy says I can "draw" and "color". Looks to me like this calls for some music. Cue up Mr. Bongo!

There, is that what I'm supposed to do, Mommy? "Coloring" just isn't for me, right now. I think smashing the objects against other toys is much more fun. Give me time. I just may be a budding Picasso, you never know.

By the way, I am feeling much better. This morning I didn't gag during breakfast and I ate a pretty big bowl of cereal. I was really sick on Tuesday (ie: didn't want to play at all, slept on Mommy and Daddy's chests and generally felt yucky) so Mommy took me to the pediatrician for a check up. I unfortunately lost 2 pounds--that's a lot for me since I'm kinda skinny. She said to keep drinking lots of that yucky pedialyte and try the BRAT diet. I took offense to that, I am not a BRAT. But, the food is going down okay, thanks for asking!

I will be able to teach you the fun of coloring. It takes awhile to get the hang of it, but then it's great. And your not limited to paper and crayons! There are walls, tables and books along with lipstick, eyeliner, sharpies and chalk. Much fun.

AJ, may I color with you on Thursday? I'm good at flowers and rainbows.
Love you!

I agree with Cousin Ellen, although she forgot to include poop as a medium.
