Shooting the Breeze with Baby Sister

Baby Amelia had to have her baby pictures taken a couple of months ago and I tagged along for the ride.  Little did I know, I'd have to get my photo taken, too!  Wait a minute, I'm not the baby here.  Fine I'll smile.  There.  That's it. Let's go!

Now I have to kiss her?  Look, she doesn't even like it.  I'm so offended.

Okay, maybe she doesn't mind me so much.

She fell asleep just as I was showing her my cool crane. Baby sisters just don't get it, do they?

Flying High

My sister may have the name Amelia, but I am the true flying ace in the family.  Case in point: my nightly flying sessions with Daddy.  Here's the step by step process.  First tell Daddy it's time to fly.  We do this by yelling, "Fly!" and tackle Daddy as stealthily as possible.  It's best to catch him off guard--you get lots of giggles that way.

Once you are successfully in the air, toddle around a bit and pretend you aren't interested in flying.  It's always a bonus to be arrogant.

Okay, don't be too arrogant or you may fall and crack open Daddy's head--or maybe your own.  We don't want to lose our airplane or spill blood on the carpet, do we?

Look at me soar!  I even have a cape (trusty Mr. Blankie) and my tongue is out as I goff at the naysayers.  Like my perfectly straight legs?  I should be in gymnastics.

Last, but not least, be sure to tackle Daddy.  He really likes being attacked by a 3 year old.  Daddys are indestructable!

The Trendsetter

Heyyyyyyyy, look at me.  Like my shades?  I'm starting a new trend.

Just kidding.  This is really the way I wear 'em.

Aha, I distracted Daddy with my coolness and stole his milk.  Just another day in the life of me!

The January Sillies

This just in:  it's January and I'm stir crazy!  It's been so bleeping cold outside so I'm not able to get out and run off some steam.  Time to make my own craziness inside!  I love playing with my socks, especially at the dinner table.  That's where lots of fun things occur, in case you haven't noticed.

I've also regressed (whatever that means) and have taken up the paci as a new hobby.  I don't really suck on it, but chew it to oblivion.  Mommy says the paci is for baby sister.  Speaking of baby sister, where is she?  Oh baby sister, wee are you baby sister?

Uh, Mommy, baby sister does not get washed in the washing machine.  Even I know that one.  Sheesh.

Gee, how the heck did the living room get so messy?  I didn't do it.  Honest.
