Ugh. Picture Time.

Guess who came to visit a while ago?  Grandma F!  We had an awesome time catching up.  Of course, Mommy had to ruin everything by forcing us to sit for a photo.  Look how upset we all are.

Yeah, now that baby sister is here, she takes pictures all the time.  She tries to get us to pose together.  Here, Mommy, this is a good one.  Okay we're done now, right?

Ugh, more photos?  Look, Amelia is exhausted--time to quit already.

Make her stop using me as a lounge chair!  She's not supposed to watch TV until she's two anyway.  Sheesh.

I love you anyway, Amelia.  Even though you are already addicted to TV.

Random milk face photo.  Guess what I was doing in this photo?  Watching Cars, of course.  Duh!

Fun.

Notice I have no witty title?  My brain is tired.  Lately, I've been very interested in forts.  I ask to have a fort made of the couch cushions at least once per day--it seems to drive Mommy and Daddy nuts.  Oh well.  I do need something to do.

Here I am pondering.  I'm pondering why my blog has turned into a cat-filled propaganda machine.  What the heck?  I just don't get it.  We have another animal, called a dog.  His name is Cassius.  I've heard he's cute.

Grandma, do you know of this dog, Cassius?  What?  You've heard he has sharp teeth and barks?  Hmmm, sounds interesting.  I may need to investigate.

Holy cow!  He does have teeth and look at that vertical.  Not too bad for an 8 year old hound.

Sorry Cashy, I mean 56 in dog years.  Yep, I know math!

Cashy and I enjoyed the last of the winter snow about a month ago.  He LOVES snowballs and would eat them until the snow was gone.

I loved feeding them to him.  He wagged his tail in appreciation.  Can't wait for more snowballs next year, Cassius.  There.  No more stinkin' kitty propaganda.  Take that, Miss Kitty.

A Busy Month

Wow.  February and March have flown by.  Thank God!  That means spring is on its way and I can run around outside instead of driving Mom and Dad nuts with my indoor antics.  The dog poop fairy needs to visit our backyard.  Ahem, Daddy.
Baby sister and I continue our bonding.  She is really fun and loves to stare at me.  I know, I am the cat's meow, that's already been established.  Lately I've enjoyed taking her doll and pretending it's my baby by placing it in the exersaucer, the jumperoo and the activity gym.  Mommy thinks I need to work on my carrying technique since it's  apparently ill-advised to carry a baby by it's head.  Oh well.
Miss Kitty thinks she's a toy.  I guess in some ways she is, just a semi-crabby toy.  She's interactive:  she has claws.  I found that out the other day.  Interesting.  Who knew?
A sight for sore eyes:  the Roseviille crane truck!  They came through and trimmed our big maple tree.  Daddy says they must have been hurting for work since they trimmed all the trees in the neighborhood.  It was the highlight of my week.

Unless, of course, you count baby sister's first piggy back ride.

Wait a minute, I knew that wasn't the only good thing that happened that week.  The chipper truck showed up a day after the crane truck.  Oh how I love trucks.  Can't wait to rev up my engine for construction season!

The Foreman

Daddy and I went for a walk the other day and look what we discovered:  construction machinery!  Holy cannoli, this is the best day of my life (thus far).  I better put on my foreman hat and inspect the site.

While I'm excited to see the machinery, I can't help but wonder what happened to all the old people that lived in the nursing home here. Hopefully they had a permit to tear down the building and informed the old people to move out.

So far, so good.  I don't see any old people wandering aimlessly looking for their nursing home.  The machines also appear to be in good working order.

Hmm, just a pile of dirt.  Good.  No old people over there, either.  Whew.  I sure am glad, because those rollers can roll over people pretty fast, and old people have a tendency to be slow.  Look at Mommy and Daddy. They are old and slow.

Man, look how huge I am compared to this dinky digger!

Inspection passed.  Glad to see they thought of the old people before the machines tore down their nursing home.  I'll be sure to notify the authorities if I see any old people wandering aimlessly through the streets.
