Caught in the Act

Pretty good book. I wonder why the pictures are upside down.

Okay, I'm bored of that one. Let's peruse the shelves and see what else I can find . . .

Ahh. "Dear Zoo". An oldie but a goodie.

Unfortunately, I've read it a billion times. Duh, everybody knows camels are too grumpy to have as pets!

Yes, this looks like a good vintage. Just what I wanted.

Want to know the funniest thing about my love of reaching for books? Mommy and Daddy think I can't reach up to the third shelf--they're actually trying to keep me from reading my books! Something about me bending the book spines back, ripping pages and generally using the books as weapons.

Do I look like a boy who would do such naughty things? Look how innocent I am, just enjoying my book about sheep wishing upon the stars.

I guess my parents don't really enjoy the mess that comes with me exploring my bookshelf. I haven't yet grasped the concept of cleaning up after myself. I think I'll try to avoid that one for a while.

The incriminating act caught on video! I didn't know Mommy was watching me the whole time. She sure is sneaky.

Uh Oh

Note to self: do NOT store the toothbrush in the toilet. The parents think it's gross. (Also not a good place to put Mommy's hair binders. . . just a helpful reminder)

Catchin' Up With the Sunday Paper

Ahhh, Sunday again. You know what that means--
The Sunday Paper (PS: I didn't do it)

What's going on in the world today? I better check out my stocks.

Excuse me, Cookie Monster has again escaped his home. Get back in there, Cookie!

What an amusing toy. The Slinky is capturing my attention for the second.

And another second.

Gee, Mama, your St Kate's alum magazine sure is intriguing. Can I go to school there? What? All girls? That is discrimination. I should sue.

Nevermind. Time for a musical interlude. Music, the eternal peacemaker.

My Play--what?

Hi everybody. Hope you are all staying warm. I know I am, I haven't been outside in a few days. I sure am bored. Not much to do when the windchill is 31 degrees below zero. I know, let's take a tour downstairs!

Ooooh, the stairs. I love going up the stairs, haven't figured out how to go down them (aside from falling down them, I've done that one before--ouch). Look at all that mess at the bottom, disgraceful. Mama says all that junk is for the playroom my parents are working on for me. What? A playroom? This sounds wonderful! Is it done yet?

Hmmm, guess not. Looks like the walls are painted and Daddy is working on the lighting and ceiling. Daddy also bought some cabinets from (P)IKEA so I can neatly store all my toys. Did I say neatly? Did I say store? Yeah, I haven't quite figured out the meaning of those words yet.

Daddy says something called 'work' keeps getting in the way of him completing the room. Stupid work. Oh, it also doesn't help that my room is directly above the playroom and he doesn't want to wake me when I'm sleeping (which seems to be a lot nowadays). Hey, I'm willing to sacrifice some sleep for my playroom. Oh, wait, Mommy says 'absolutely not' and says I am a bear when I don't get enough sleep. We all know what bears say, 'roar'. I'll keep you posted. . .
