January Mind Freeze

Sunny days, sweepin' the clouds away. On my way to where the air is clean. Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?

Uh, it's right here, on my TV. Everyday at 0930 the magical TV turns on and I get to watch my favorite show for a whole hour. Sad thing is, though, the hour doesn't last long enough. I'm not really interested in any other TV show. It's January and I'm bored. As you can tell from my past outside adventures, I don't really appreciate the snow just yet. Therefore, there isn't much for a tot to do.

Ha ha! Fooled you once again. There's plenty for me to do around here. Did you know the door game? Let me tell you how it works. You go to a door and pull on the door knob.

Then you quickly close the door (watch out for your fingers--ow that hurts).

Open the door, giggle profusely and repeat at least 25 times or until Mommy or Daddy make you stop. If you are forced to stop, be sure to pout a little to make your frustration known. Don't worry, you won't be frustrated for long. If you are like me, you are a happy, laid-back kid who will find something else to do.

Christmas Parts Three and Four (Sheesh)

Daddy looks exhausted. I concur, Daddy. This Christmas thing seems to last for weeks. Not that I'm complaining, however. Presents are good. Oh, and it's also good to be with family and remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas. . .

Running! I'll tell you about my weekend, but in reverse chronological order just to keep you on your toes. On Sunday I enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa T, Auntie Rasa and Uncle Don and of course Jakie and Lily. Everyone was at my house to open presents at the gift exchange for the adults. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Chianti Grill (I'm told they have a delicious gluten-free menu for the sprues). I ate a delectable dinner of chicken fingers and fries. Very Italian. Jakie and Lily weren't able to join us for Saturday's festivities due to illness so they got to open their presents at our house.

Lily says, "What did you say? Presents?"

Jakie got a cool walking dinosaur he named, "Em" (appropriate, I am told as dinosaurs are very cool) and Lily got lots of neato doll house figures from us.

Santa is not evil. Santa is not evil. Santa is not evil.

On Saturday, after my sledding adventure, we enjoyed a delicious ham dinner and present opening at Grandma and Grandpa T's house.

Alyssa got a new dolly from us.

I started understanding, a little bit, about the whole present opening thing. I was pretty tired so I had my minion, ie: Daddy, open my gifts. Thanks everyone for the cool presents. They are currently all sprawled out across the living room floor. Mommy and Daddy say that will all change when my playroom is done. . .wait a minute, this is the first I have heard of said 'playroom'. . . I better investigate. More to come!

Sledding: Take Two

Here we go again. My parent's lame attempt to get me to like snow and this sled. I guess it just means I have time to take a snooze.

Fooled ya! I wasn't sleeping. I did travel to the sledding spot like this. I just didn't feel I needed to expend any energy sitting up. I had a feeling I would need to keep myself in tip-top form for my coming adventure. By the way, we were at Grandma and Grandpa T's house this weekend for Christmas number 3. We decided to sled before the festivities began. Let's hope this sledding adventure is better than the last attempt.

Holy cow. Look at the view. That little speck in the middle is my Daddy--the hill is unending--will I ever see him again?

Yay! He came back. Drat. He's making me go down the hill with him. I think he's having more fun than me.

Yup, I KNOW he's having more fun than me.

Okay, I'll give it one more try. Daddy said the run is better now since he went down the hill a few times.

Nope, still not impressed. Nice try, Mommy and Daddy.

Our Family Christmas 2007

Hi. See the scrapes on my face? I know what you are thinking. I had a brawl with Miss Kitty, trying to improve my Kitty Riding time. Nope. Nice try. Wanna know what really happened? Drum roll please. . . I got in a fight with a Christmas tree at JoAnn store. I think I won though. Mommy was busily stocking up on Sponge Bob Square Pants gift bags (don't ask) and I thought this little tree next to me was so intriguing. I pulled on it and it attacked me, landing on my head. I didn't cry or make any noise for that matter. I patiently waited for Mommy to notice me. She laughed when she saw me and I was very sparkly from the glitter stuck to my face. All in all, a fun time. Anyhoo, last Friday we celebrated our own family Christmas. We had a fun time. Basically, I had a fun time since I was the only one with lots of presents to open.

Momma told me to pick out a gift to open (they didn't bother with the wrapping this year, too lazy) so I picked this one.

Okay, now what do I do?

Yeah, not that interesting.

Ooooh, this is the real present--cardboard!

I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season this year. I know we did! Oh, I did finally figure out my toy. It's pretty cool and very noisy. Just the way I like it...
